Well, no Dad's decals yet but it sure is looking better now then last week.  Matt does not like th rootbeer flavor or color of the machine.  I did not like his red and yellow scheme of his restored Minit Pop so I guess now were even.  I hope to have it done in the next two weeks.

I felt bad that you had no replies.  Come on guys and gals.  He's right it's no longer ugly.  It's an onfunished Cleveland Browns Theme.  Now that's a paint job I'm capable of with my talents.  I even converted a Jack in the Box Arizona Cardinal helmet into a Browns helmet antenna topper.  Anyone else with a thought here? Do you have a theme in mind?

Or are you going Coca-Cola?

Ok wise guys, this is the deal.  My paint guy is so sick of Coke red that he begged me to do a rootbeer theme.  All that I am sking you to do is to keep an open mind.  When it is complete, I think it will give Curtis' "Frost square top" all it can handle.  I would be willing to have an honest "vote for your favorite square top" contest.

Dad's root beer would be my entry.  Curtis could put forward his Frosty or even better yet, his "billiard " square top.

Curtis, you need to post a few pics of the Billiard Vendo 56. That may be the coolest sqaure top around.

The boys at Beermachine.com could throw down with one of their beer machines air brushed to perfection.  I like there Corona machine the best.

Bubba and Terry could go with the usually Coke offereings but I am also getting a little tired of those paint codes.
.
Also, how cool would it be to restore a Vendo 56 to an  50s B movies theme like Creature from the Black lagoon or Attack of the 50 foot Woman.  I'll even take requests.  I have about 5 more Vendo 56/63s in my warehouse and I could do any theme that gets the most votes.

Squre tops are great because it really doesn't matter what your restoration theme is.  If you hate it you can redue them easy enough.

I am looking forward to seeing some phots and some ideas.

I agree B.   Anything but Coke Red, and I Love Coke!':O'   Its just so overdone with all the repop stuff
that you get tired of seeing it sometimes.  Probably why I dig a scratched up original, you know it's old!     Can't wait to see it done. '<img'>

Looking good!! It would be cool to have a soda machine that had a matching pinball machine next to it.

Root Beer  good.    I thought you had crossed over into the burnt orange of Texas Longhorns or the Tennesse Vols.   Glad to know you have not dropped off yet....

Creighton:

I cheated a little.  I have a Creature From the Black Lagoon pinball machine next to my restored Stoner Theatre in my game room.  I would love to do up a square top in a Creature movie theme.
