Eric:

You are so right.  This 1947 GE double chiller was found in a barn.  The farmer stored feed in it.  They let it go cheap.  Here is what it looks like know.  I will try to post the before picture later.

Good hunting!!!

Good Luck Brian, The "Old Farmer" finds can be some of the best finds out there... That is how I found my Vendo 81b. I originally went to this lady's Dads barn to look at what she had advertised as an Old Coke Tub. I figured it was an old westinghouse cooler , which it was. Then when I looked around I saw something blue and upright in the corner. She said Oh that is an old Pepsi Machine, but by brother wants to keep it (she thought)... I asked to look at it and it turned out to be a Vendo 81, Painted pepsi blue with a Pepsi embossed sign Nailed over the Coke embossing. the Machine was complete and in restorable condition. I asked her if for sure her brother wanted it , she called him and said make her an offer. $750 later I came out the barn with a Westinghouse cooler and a Vendo 81B.
Good luck Brian

Now that's the best story I have ever heard about the barn and the Farmer's Daughter.  '<img'>

I consider myself more of an Indiana Jones..... When it comes to the hunt. My wife just considers me a nut, but I just got started and haven't collected a check yet. As soon as I do then I'm sure she'll have a better attitude. '<img'>
