I am setting up my shop and I needed a cabnet to put some tools in. I was looking at local stores and they are really expensive. Well I am parting out a cavalier 64G and I was going to cut up the cabnet but then I had the idea to make a tool cabnet out of it. Works good. Shelves arent really level but it works.

works great, I used a vendo 83 cabinet for extra shelf space worked well until I traded it off. My grandfather uses a old fridge for storage of power tools, it keep the dirt dobbers out of them and ruining his expensive tools.

Three comments:
1) Neat idea. '<img'>
2) Are you trying to lure 'Kito out with the stuff on top? '<img'>
3) You know the machine is somehow going to end up on ebay in a few years and everyone here is going to ask, "who in the heck would do that to a nice machine?"! ':p'

I actually didn't do any damage to the cabnet and am really wanting to keep it just in case I find a 64 that is rusty that I want to save. But meanwhile it makes a great tool cabnet. Notice I put stuff on top of this one and the 56 in another post. Come on Kito where are you? '<img'>

I like that cabinet idea.
I was thinking about gutting the big VMC 10 and refinishing the outside to use as a stereo/blankets/stuff cabinet in my living room  '<img'>
And the wife likes the idea! '<img'>

Hello folks,
Sorry to jump in like this but this is the first time I've actually joined a chat group.....  Yes, I am a virgin....

I don't even know if I'm in the right area or not so let me know if I'm not.  I am writing to get more info on a ceramic root beer dispensor that I got from my father.  It is approximately 15" high and says Beats All Root Beer.  5 cents  The company name is Brechet & Richter Co.  It is in Excellent condition and is all original.  I was wondering if anyone had any idea about it's value or if they had ever heard of Beats All Root Beer....  Thanks for any help on this matter...

Take care,

Ron

You guys think 'kito pushed his wife too far?...
He was buying like a crazed man there at the end.... (Oh.. end sounds bad) and with her being pregnant... then just having the baby... I know when my wife was pregnant... I put hunting these things on hold for a while till it was “safe”. He may be making up some seriuos Honey Do list...
Hopefully he'll be back....
Anyway.... Great cabinet...... put it to use while its there.....
And welcome Ron.... Hope you stick around and hope you post some pictures of the dispenser....

Very creative use of space. Didn't know it was bad to stack things on top of your drink box. I have stuff stacked almost to the ceiling. Guess Kito would have my head.

cvb141,
Kito was a very active member until a short time ago. He's kinda missing in action at the moment. Kito's pet peeve was stuff sitting on top of a coke machine. We all have some fun with it. '<img'>
