I'd give up soda machines for this anyday to add to my collection of Journey stuff.
You guys know I'm a big Journey, Steve Perry fan, but Steve's no longer with the band. I still enjoy Neil and Jon's music though.
Check this out. Around Josh's home state.

I wish I could buy it. But no funds of that magnatude.
Could you imagine the thrill the teenager got when her ticket number was drawn at their concert last year? She had only bought 1 ticket. She's selling the bike for funds for college.

That bike is great, I go to Daytona and Myrtle Beach Bike weeks, I'll have to keep my eye out for that and get some good photos. Being you all like Bikes, Here is my Custom Harley Fat Boy. It was all stock when I started. I got it in 96. Curtis, Memory Lane Restorations.

I lived in daytona for 4 years while going to school. Bike week is great!! I lived off of US1 two miles from the the boardwalk. There is also biketober fest that is about half the size of bike week but is still alot of fun. Spring break was always great. It goes on for about a month and a half. It was nice to not have to go anywhere for spring break. And so we didn't have to worry about geting home safe our school provided free taxi service all year within the Daytona city limits with a few major cab companies.

Yep got caught up in bike week some years back in Daytona. Must have been some kinda parade of bikes because I bet we sat in one spot forever waiting for them to pass.
I love the way a harley sounds. My mom has always said i must have been a boy in past lives being I like all things mechanical. I just worshiped my Dad, (dont all girls?) followed him around his shop daily. Always had something to tinker with.
My daughter is the same way she loves 4x4 trucks, John Deere tractors and duck hunting.
Dave, dont know if you are a Journey fan or not but they are doing a european tour this year. Not sure of the dates or when they will be back in the states.

I got it private. It was 100% bone stock. I put another $20k + into it. It sits in my office. I'm looking at it now.

Sweet lookin' bike, Curtis. That's one thing I've not really gotten into (yet!). Harley's and Indians are fascinating to me. I got hooked on watching OCC's show and any of the other shows like it having to do with restorations or custom work.

Nice bike Curtis!! My inlaws are into Harleys, There's about 10 in the family. I plan on building my own custom bike when I get the time. My father in law works on bikes so building one shouldn't be an issue. '>

Jasmine64, Speaking of Journey, A few years back we were checking the beach houses in shell beach when we seen Steve Perry standing in the street in front of a beach house talking to someone. He must have noticed our chins dropped as we rolled on by. Steve P. just waved and grinned. I really wanted to stop and greet him but I thought it would be best to respect his privacy. Later that day we learned that his mother lives in that beach house. I not much but I thought it was pretty cool. '>

That must have been cool. I had 3 occasions of missing him by minutes. In Dallas, San Fransisco and in memphis.
He's retired now, his mother died some time back. Must have been when she was very sick and was living there.
I guess I'm the only Journey fan that posts here. Here's the video link, it was done for his birthday.

$%#$%#! kids '>
Journey was the first band to play at a new outdoor theatre the county opened in a new park. I was still working my way through college managing a restaurant , and couldn't get off work that night, but it was ok, 6 miles away we could go out the back door and hear the show. It was another 14 yrs before the county let anyone do a show there.
I didn't get to see Journey that night, but we sat across Pat Benetar and her band (she was the kicker) when we went to another restaurant after we closed, and I used to kick some butt on the Journey video game, does that count for anything ? '>
Whoa Jas, we need to find you Journey, the Video Game....

OK, I will throw my Journey story in here also. Several years ago I was in Lousiville KY with my wife (fiancee at the time) who is a big sports fan and who has played sports all her life. I thought the Louisville Slugger factory and museum would be good stop for her. We went in and there were the guys from Journey getting ready to take the tour also. So we went on the tour of the Slugger plant with them. They were in town for a concert that night.
