Well just picked these two up. Can't find the old thread that had sources for parts, keys and such. These locks have been drilled but not correctly. As always thanks for any help!! Heavy buggers. Creighton

Creighton,
There's a guy on Ebay that sells parts. His Ebay user name is tony20nascar1 . I'm not sure what all he has, but he has sold rebuild kits and decals.

I think you may be thinking of ebay user "metermen." He passed away last year. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws....etermen
You may just try ebay and look at other items that people sell. Let us know what you find since I will probably be looking for a few locks soon. I had to drill both locks on my Duncan.

Thanks all! Only thing I'm finding for these models (VIP) is from Duncan themselves. I'll give them credit for one tough coin box lock. Have a 1/4" hole clear through and it's not budging. Will update with what I find. Creighton

Creighton, Duncan is located here in Harrison and until a few years ago they did most of the meters here. I know the Manager of the plant, what do you need, maybe I can help....

Hi Joey, yeah I think they were HQ in Chicago but most of the parking meters were made right here....I have one they gave me that they converted into a lamp. The malls have done away with the need for parking meters and they have re tooled here and make mostly coin changer parts not sure what brand though....

Outstanding news g.b.harp!! No rush at all but :-) ... Some help on getting the round coin doors open and how to order new locks and keys. Doesn't look like the top locks have been mucked with so hopefully just keys there. What a great board! Thanks!! Creighton

I'm sorry Creighton, I promised to follow up on my sources for Duncan parts ,and promptly got overwhelmed with life.
I had an email address for 'Meterman', and it was returned as not a valid address. His web site was hosted on Anadale, but it appears to have been discontinued. Not sure if his Ebay ID was 'MeterMen", who has passed away.
The second link I had for Duncan Parts has an announcement on their web site that they have gotten out of the business from lack of sales '>

No worries Kilroy!! These are just fun projects, no rush on anything. Sadly it appears a great person and resource has been lost. I'll be calling Duncan Thurs. and will pass on anything I find out. Thanks! Creighton

Here's a photo of our parking meter next to our driveway. It's a Rockwell and believe it or not it usually has a few coins in it. '>
