I count this as my third greatest achievement. 1) Found a girl who I coerced into marriage. 2) met Willie Nelson 3) have a 1960's Coke machine filled with ice cold beer in my garage.
All I really did was clean it, paint the inside, and replaced the wiring and fans. It's not perfect, but it has a nice patina. Did I mention it keeps my beer cold.
Thanks for looking and those who answered some of my questions.

Man, I've got to find me another 63!
Need to go see the salvage guy again to see where the machines are.

Nice job banjobob! did you go with hammertone silver on the liner? looks 100% better, same goes for the vend-stack, gotta luv those V63's! Hey, if you need a V63, I just scored another one on Ebay on a second chance offer, this means now I have 6 of the little buggers hold up in the barn! the wifes going hmmm... '> I also have a V90/Pepsi that needs some door-work, ####! these things are like peanuts, you just can't have only one! '>

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Great looking machine. It cleaned up very nicely. Did you remove the drinking fountain, or did you get it that way?

Thanks for looking Brian, It came with a the bubbler and a huge bottle rack. I took both of them off and will fill the holes with sheet metal screws untill I paint it. But I'm not sure I ever will. I like the worn look it has now.
