Yesterday I decided to upgrade my Bead blasting cabinet. I ordered a bigger (48") and better cabinet for doing my restorations. It's a Skat Blast 960-WL w/ dust collector. I'll post pictures as soon as it arrives from Ohio. I can hardly wait. '<img'>

That thing should be awesome. I've got a smaller cabinet that uses a shop-vac for dust collection. It's a cheapy that I picked up at one of those traveling tool shows but it's served me well.

Hello BrianB,
I too have been using a smaller blast cabinet. I wanted to upgrade to something big enough for V39 and VMC 33 bottle drums. I should be able to get the front door of a 33 in there as well. '<img'>

Bead blasting is simular to sand blasting minus all the big mess. You insert parts inside the cabinet and you blast away all the paint, rust, etc. using little glass beads or aluminum oxide beads.  '<img'>

So this isn't for cleaning large parts like the cabinet, etc ?
