Some of you may remember the basket case Vendo 56 I bought a few months ago on ebay. Heres a few pics of it before the cutting and welding took place.

It was rough but what I feel a hard enough machine to locate worth saving

Heres a few pictures of it taken tonight. I had a friend of mine do the welding, it turned out fairly nice from what it once was. It still doesnt look pretty but coming along.

More than likely the machine will have a new home on Saturday

The only cars Ive ever stiched were the ones I cut up for scrap. I part out Camaros, and Firebirds for another hobby. It helps offset costs of soda machines, and my Camaro. The way I look at things is its never to rough to be rebuilt and fixed. Somethings just take more time and love than others. Sometimes its just not worth fixing things as they arent as valuable or scarce as others.

Yep going to Randy in Ozark, 81 is coming along smoothly I just installed the coin mech, door liner, linkage, lightbar, insulation etc. starting to work on the bottle stack. I figure another 2 months and it will be done. Randy is fixing me up with a cooling unit for the 81 and probably other goodies.

Well the 56 is now gone, I traded it to Randy in Ozark yesterday. I ended up getting rebuilt cooling units with warrantys for my 81, and a friends 39, a large door coin door bezel for a VMC, and the bottle door cut out on my vendo 56 im keeping. The 56 wasnt all I traded but I feel I did pretty well.
