Hi dudes,
Many of you know that another passion of mine besides soda machines and my home theater is my gameroom. Though it is maxed out with pinball machines and arcade games, I still can't stop buying more machines (sound familiar?)

What I want to know is if you guys know if there are some good discussion forums like this one here for pinball machines and arcade game machines.
Now unlike many of you, I am a purist and don't do Mame machines, so any Mame forums need not apply.

Thanks so much,
~'kito

Basically a computer that you stick in an arcade cabinet.  You also need the ROM files, and most of them are illegally obtained! ''
(Sorry, not a MAME fan)

I frequent the KLOV (Killer List of Vdeo Games) forum: http://forums.webmagic.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?Cat=&C=2
They also have a pinball section there (along with a member named Noice (30 year old Christian virgin) who has a thread about his dating problems that has over 1000 replys!). ':blushing:'

On a sidenote, I may have some video game news soon...  '<img'>

I like rec.games.pinball. What pins do you have? Since I am 40+ I like the older ones like Black Knight, Xenon, Haunted House, etc. i have played them all and love the 90's era Williams and Ballys (kinda pricey).

For pins I have:
1958 Carnival Queen (the first Bingo style) (Ballys)
1965 Eager Beaver (forest animals theme) (Williams)
1976 Night Rider (Trucker and waitress theme, not the '80s talking car) (Ballys)
1982 Pink Panther (Pink Panther theme) (Gottlieb)
Used to own a 1977 Quarterback (football theme) (Ballys) but sold it to buy a Skee-Ball machine about 6 months ago
I want to own some modern ones as well, with ramps, etc.

Thanks.

In addition to those pinball machines, these are the other games I have in my gameroom:

-Full-sized "Skee-Ball" machine that gives out the redemption tickets.
-Jukebox (with 45's) from the 1970's
-My Cavalier CS-64-C (1960) filled with beer and soda
-Pool table
-"Moon Patrol" cocktail table arcade machine (1982)
-"Baby Pac-man" (Arcade game/pinball machine hybrid) (1982)
-"Golden Tee 2K" (2000)
-39-In-One Arcade machine with just about every 1980's video game you can think of in it
-Foosball table
-A "Big Choice" crane/claw machine with stuffed animal prizes in it
-And this 6-player United 10th Frame Shuffle Alley puck bowling game that needs restoring that I just got locally on eBay for $128:

The best arcade games forum I've found is at:

http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.video.arcade.collecting

There are plenty of collectors as well as people in the business.  You can find out anything you need to know there.
