Has anybody sourced a place to get the trim that goes on hte doors of the square corner machines? It doesn't have to be exact but I need to replace some on a 56 I am redoing. Last time I checked neither funtronics or soda jerk works had any, but that's been a year or so. I was wondering if anybody had retrofitted something else that looks as good?

They have the adhesive backed plastic chrome. It works great and looks good too. I know you have seen these pics before but I attached a few pics of machines I have put it on. You can also get it online cheeper. I have bought it from a place that I think was called sportwing.com but I don't remember. It is normally used as trim on cars.

the plastic stuff is just what I'm looking for. The machine I'm redoing is trashed and every bit of trim on it is dented. Looking for something cheap, I'm just doing this one as a Mountain Dew fantasy machine I've been thing about doing. Sportwing.com Has 3/8" chrome that looks like it might work. They have it in gold too for those of you who want to get really stylish.

No it's destroyed. It had a car bump into it not bad enough to bend the door but toasted the trim. Every section has something wrong with it so it's not like I can find a few donor sections from other machines to make a good set. BTW, that Vernor's machine is Killer, great job.

Pat I just took another look at that Vernor's machine. Didn't notice that the gnome was the sparty one the first time. Very slick.

I checked out the chrome molding on sportwing.com, Its pretty expensive for plastic molding. I bought some at my automotive paint store, they offer several selections for around 20-25 bucks a roll.
