I am so happy I just had to post this. Since I have been in Memphis I haven't been able to find any machines. I had almost gave up when I got a call today from a guy That has a Pepsi vendo 63, Pepsi Vendo 90, and a Cavalier USS-96 that he wants to get out of his garage. He says that they are all in good shape and he thinks they are complete but he doen't think any of them cool anymore. He then told me that if I want them I can come get all of them FREE!!! I can't hardly contain myself. WOOOHOOO!!! I am going to get them tomorrow. I will let you all know how it goes.

Well I ran an ad on Craigslist and this guy emailed me yesterday and I didn't think much of it because he said to make him an offer and that usually is a bad thing. But he called today and told me to come get them. I wanted to run an ad but the memphis paper must be made of gold because it is $50 per day to run the ad. I told them where to go. I can't wait to get these machines.  ':drinkers:'  '<img'>  '<img'>

I don't think I am going to be able to sleep tonight. I want to go get these machines so bad. I rented a storage unit today with electricity so I will be able to test the machines. I also rented a Uhaul trailer so I can get all three in one trip. Work tomorrow is going to be the longest day ever.  I know what will calm me down.  '<img'>  Time for a cold one. Man i wish I could have a machine in this hotel room.

Well it looks like it will be next week before I get the machines. The guy ownes some property in the Florida panhandle that is getting ready to get pounded by the hurricane so he had to go secure his property. He assured me that the machines are mine but I will have to wait untill he gets back.
Oh well

Did he say what part of town he was in? Please be careful if it's in the SW part. Also around the Raleigh and Frasier areas.
I grew up in Frasier area but it has changed soooooo much since then.

About the paper ads, there's over a million people in memphis, shelby county alone, plus surrounding counties, the state of arkansas (east) and North MS.

I cam pm you the number of the free ad paper I sometimes advertise in. let me know if you want it.

Well I went to pick the machines up today. The owner was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I had misunderstood him before and only the V63 and 90 were free and he had decided to keep the USS-96 which was fine with me because I really didn't want the 96. The owner works for Pepsi and gave me all kinds of stuff. He gave me a sheet of water release pepsi decals, Two changers (one is a 9800B and the other looks like a newer mars changer), A nice Pepsi hat, and a 1999 elvis pepsi bottle. The Vendo 63 is in really good shape and the Vendorlator 90 has seen its better days. I haven't plugged either in yet but he said that the cooling system is shot in the 90 and it looks pretty bad, but he thinks the 63 works. I am going to wait untill tomorrow to plug them in. I am going to part out the 90 so I have a fresh set of parts. The shelves are the same as the 63, 81, 117,126, and 90. I don't know what I am going to do with the 63 yet. I am sooo happy to get these home. If anyone needs anything let me know.

I think I am going to clean up the 63 and sell it to help with the move. The 90 I don't think is worth saving so I am going to part it out.

If the shelves will fit a V-63 then I would like seven of them.

Let me know the price & shipping!

Josh - I'm still trying to find a bottle opener bezel.  Your 90 looks like it has one that might do the trick... If you decide to part it out I need a bezel with inside perimeter measuring 1-3/8" W x 2-7/8" H. As it's a vendorlator I may also be able to use the cap catcher if it has one of the plastic ones. LMK

PS - tough deal only getting 2 machines for free....  '<img'>

Thanks Eric but those are from the other kind of VMC56 with a longer small door.  I actually have those already but they're too big.  I need the smaller ones to fit this kind of VMC56 door.

Well the machine sold on ebay today for way more than I ever expected. It actually sold for $365.02 and the sign from the Vf90 sold for $88. We are actually going to be able to pull this move off now. This couldn't have come at a better time.
