I had similar ideas about this very concept for SMC... I like the Appraiser Comments; quoted from SMC and too bad the url is wrong. They quoted SMC and referenced the url at: sodamachines.com, not soda-machines.com
I though he's a little high in his appraisal...

I thought he was high too. I noticed the "...quite compact in size..." off of SMC. Didn't notice the reference was wrong.

I too thought the appraisal was high but then I thought my soda machine collection just went up in value '>

sounds like the website should hire some of the regulars (at least a quarters worth) here at SMC

Well I'd say he's on the high side, the WC126MD is the biggest monster of all the Select-a-Matics, (it's about 7' tall) especially this example, the checkerboard vinyl on the top panel section is add-on, & the Coca~Cola lightup is the late style scheme, the front is beat-up, all in all , (in my opinion) a below average condition machine, (and keep in mind I've owned all three models & currently still have a WC102MD in use in my family room) I'd give it a 5 out of 10, & wouldn't offer more than $200.00 for this example.. Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Clearly, the appraiser is out of his area of expertise since his bio is all about pottery, vases and other forms of ceramics... Go figure...
