Stumbled on these two sites while cruising the Sherwin-Williams automotive paint site.
Paint Codes for today's fleets might be useful if delivery truck colors match machine colors. Didn't look at the whole list but they have Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Dr Pepper. Also have the commercial beer vendors.

Remember to keep in mind that there is more than one official Coca Cola red, with the more recent red being a little on the orange side. The correct color for most of our applications will be the darker red of the two, or in some books three shades of red. I made this mistake once, and as a punishment, I had to sand down a machine and re shoot it with the correct tint of red. And might I add, quality red paint isn't cheap.

You are right. Always buy good paint. Dupont has over 20 shades of Coke red in the books.

If you take a piece of something that is the correct coler green to most automotive paint stores they can scan it and match the color for you so if you have a picnic cooler or take a small piece off of your machine and take it in. Just make sure its not faded or you will get the faded color.
Most people here just go to the paint store and match it as close as they can with the paint chips and or just pick a shade that you like. Just like coke and Pepsi there were more than one shade used over the years and from different manufacturers.

I'm with Josh... Choose a colour you like off the shelf so that if it needs to be touched up it just a matter of buying a kit etc...

i found English Color and supply here in the Dallas area, had them scan my Dr Pepper machine color into their system to make up some spray paint, it came up with 'Dr Pepper green' in their system color code 42348, if that helps anyone. may just be their own number but if you're around here or can contact them on the net, they have the exact color code for Dr Pepper green and can make it up into spray cans for you....for a price, but can be done.

Brenda, That's because we have an issue with registrations that requires a second registration at the Home Page... Call me and I'll resolve this easily enough.
