I know that this probably isn't the best place to ask, but where you were talking about the 81s....  I just came across an 81 that someone is selling.  He is looking for $1,200 for it.  It is in good shape, no rust, working and has all of the pieces except for it's coin mech.

I am new to this, and don't know where to find a realistic price for soda machines.  The 81s on Greedbay are crazy.  Do you 81 guys think that it is too much to pay for one of these machines?

If it is missing the entire coin assembly that will take at least $350.00 to fix, if only the slug rejector no big deal. Hard to say without seeing it but 1200 for a 81 that cools isn't bad.

I'd rattle on about how pricey and hard to find coin mechs are. Then offer 900 and go from there. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. If you decide to pass, please post someone else in the "family" may be interested.

I'm out and done on the shelves. Maybe next time.
