I have a few old Freon R12 bottles, and want to use them to fill 2 of my machines.
I was hoping someone with a good eye can tell me where to get the proper Recharging hose.

I had a tech come to my place with his equipment, but couldn't fit his screw on recharge hose to my Freon bottle.
We now know the 134 screw top is a different size than the R12.
Just looking for any help as to where to buy the proper recharge equipment.
Anyone have any experience with this?

I can email a few pics of the bottle if it will help

thanks in advance

Thanks for the input Brian,

The only one I see is made for a flat top to be punctured.
Mine has a Male Threaded end, which means the common Can Tapper won’t work!

Thanks MoonDawg,
Looks like I have some reading to do. Make sure I don’t get the wrong unit from China

Sounds like you bought a couple of cans of “freeze 12”?

it has a unique thread that is niether a R-134-acme or an the old 1/4” standard R12 thread.

The cans are Freon 12 by DUPONT,
The Can is from Mexico, so it’s a bit hard to read the details.

Does home A/C Hookups differ from Vending A/C hookups
This can has a sticker with a barcode and a house.

I sure hope there is a solution

I can email a pic to anyone for a better idea of what I’m looking at.
