Just thought I'd share some garbage. Here is a trash can from the sixties by Superior Jet. Although I am not a fan of trashcans, I must say, I always like this style. It has to be the lid that makes these so cool. I lost my original picture, but I found one that shows what it looked like prior to being finished. These cans were mainly used in gas stations and factories because they were fire proof. I have seen a Pepsi one on Ebay and they did make a Coke version but it wasn't as fancy. Now the damn things to nice, I don't want to use it. I have to give a shout out to Sliderbob for helping me get this to and from a painter. My painter has disappointed me too many times.

Looks great. I've always liked those. We all need a trash can at some point. Might as well be a cool one!

Looks great. For me it's the top of the can that makes it so interesting. Congrats!

Cool trash can. The stainless pops!
I'm curious about the "Place Empties Here" text on a trash can. Makes for a good recycling bin.

Eventually, Im going to place the can between two bottle Coke machines. It will be used for empty bottles only. No potato salad or baked beans dripping down this can.

Our friend Alan at Antique Vending has one of these in his museum. It is a Pepsi version, but very cool. If I ever get down there again I will try and take a picture.
