O.k., I have three different kinds of shelves and they are all the V56 size. I need help figuring it out.
Here is a photo of all three styles:

The one in the middle seems like the normal V56 bottle shelf.
The one on the left (see also the following closeup) has a zig zag in the metal arm (or whatever you call it). This one came with the can rack, so I assume that all "can shelves" have this.
Is it so that the arm can stay in the same hole, despite the shelf being more narrow for cans? Basically the zig zag makes up for the missing shelf width? Right?

And then finally, I have only one of this style, which has the straight arm (no zig zag), but has no corner.
Why is that and which machine is that for?

Kito the third one reminds me of a Cavalier 64 rack. Next time I am at my storage unit I will take a look and snap a pic to see. Or does anyone else have an early Cav 64 to look at?

Kito - the middle one looks almost identical to my VMC56 shelves. If you have dimensions and a pic of the underside I can confirm. I'd be interested in buying a couple from you if you don't need them and they're in reasonable shape.

Markito,
#1 V-56 Can. Yes the offset lines it up to roll the cans into the lift gate.
#2 V-56 square top bottle shelf. Most RT's had an spring advance arm.
#3 No idea.
hartlenb, I have two of the #2's. I'm short 2 can shelves and 4 RT style. If you have any of these extra we could work out a trade. Until I find the above orginals I'll need to keep these though. Let me know. Creighton

Creighton - can't help with your shelf search... I'm still a single machine collector, so I have very few parts to offer... I do have a wiring harness that includes the junction box and a couple of vending miser units if they interest you?

Kito, The one on the right also looks identical to the ones in the much talked about Cav 96 I just picked up a few minutes ago. The dimensions of the ones out of the 96 are 6.5 inches wide (at the widest) and 18" long. jeff

I thought they looked like Cavalier shelves. If they are shorter then thay are cavalier 64 shelves.

Yep, I just found out that shelf #3 is indeed a Cavalier 64 shelf (Josh you are good). I just traded my pepsi machine and got a flat top Cav 64 in beautiful original shape (my first Cavalier). When I opened it up, the 8 shelves in it looked identical to the cornerless one in the photos above.
Thanks to everyone for all your shelf help and info.

Kito - where did you end up with the V/VMC 56 shelves? Do you have extras?
