I have an H63A. There seems to be a circular light around the coin slot that says "Exact change only". There is no change mech in the machine. Anyone know how to light it?

If you plan to install a coin mechanism in the machine once the change tubes are filled it will go away.

It's presently off. I want to light it. Are you familiar?

Do you have the machine working on free vend with a switch?  I'm thinking that a jumper from pin 1 to pin 7 on the jones socket might get it to work, but I'd need to test on my machine before I could recommend that.

No free vend. I use quarters. I take it the Jones socket is the plug in the coin mech area.
 Please let me know.

Yes it's 8 pins.  How are you feeding quarters without a coin mechanism?

Fill the change tubes.  If there is no change in the tubes of the coin mechanism the "exact change " light will stay lit because the tubes are empty resulting in shorting you your change...

If all you wish to do is light up the " use exact change only"  lamp, jumper the #2 & #5 sockets of the female "jones" plug,  assuming you will NOT be using a coinmech.

Sorry for the confusion. There is a coin mech, it takes quarters only. It works fine. I do not have a free vend switch. There are no change tubes, it does not make change. Inside the mech area is a socket and harness with multiple connections (Jones Socket?) So I just jumper 2 and 5 and that will light the exact change light. Do you have a diagram or pic? Thanks

I will be using the coin mech. Can I still jumper the sockets?
