I live in NJ have never hear of the one in Spring Lake. Curious to know what would happen if I knocked on the door and asked to look around

Not having grown up in the era of diners... but would there have been Vending machines inside a diner? 
I do admit that a 81 or a 110 would look cool in any of these pics (even the weight lifting one lol)  but I guess people want the authentic diner look?
