Nice As they come. The Dads was originally yellow. The Nugrapes were White with purple lettering.

wonder why they went with the orange paint on the dad's, I thought the nugrape were originally yellow with the purple lettering, here is a pic from an ebay auction last year

Looks like I am wrong, or variants?
The Nugrape Superior that I owned in the 90's was white. When It left my hands, it was redone in purple with white lettering. The one that I have now is a bad repaint, and it's a cream color. When it's stripped some day we may know the original color on it. Note the smooth sides on the restored one, and the embossed ridges on the eBay one.
The Dads was yellow similar to the Dads Atlas 18 as I recall.

Yes I've noticed those ridges, i think it was an upgraded or different time period difference, the coolers with the ridges have an extra piece that holds insulation on the lid and are stamped "sterling manufacturing" on the bottom, the versions without the ridges don't have either that I've seen,
Who knows maybe there were different color versions for some brands depending on the time of the production run, like quikold who kept changing the details from cooler to cooler it seems

If you have an Atlas Dads,...it the same color. The problem I have posting pics is that every single time I do that here it ends up in a Google search. Which I don't like. Sorry about that..... |
