Here is the link for it. I offered $350 which might be a little low. He has now come back with $500. Do I stick to my guns or come up on my price. This is the first Stoner ive seen in Texas in a long time plus he is only like 5 miles from me.

I think you have answered your own question with the fact that you don't see stoners come up very often and texas and he is only 5 minutes from the house.

It sounds like you really want one and I don't think $500 is all that bad, considering what was stated above.

Don't let $150 be the difference in buying if you really want it sometimes you gotta pay a little more than you want!  Consider there are no expenses for gas or shipping ...

Thank you guys for the advice. Been wanting a Stoner for a long time so I guess this is my chance. Might be tuff picking it up for a while. We are getting flooded down here right now. Theres parts of Austin on down to San Antonio that are getting shut down. This rain is crazy.

Good luck.  I got my first Stoner about 6 months ago.   I had it repainted and it has been stored in my garage under a blanket ever since as we are finishing our basement.   The basement will be done next week so I will soon get to see it out in the open and am looking forward to it.  I really love the look of a Stoner machine.

No doubt I know things can make the price different but on average what would it be to have it repainted.

Glad you got a Stoner!! Fine machines. Any chance you could post a picture? When just a link is cut and pasted into a post and the link is deleted there is nothing for anyone to view and the entire post looses value.

I'm so happy. Been dying to have one of these. Is there a way to keep it on free vend. I see how as long as the door is open but once you lock it up it wants coins.

That was my other thought but can't seem to see how to get it out. I thought it would just pop right out but I must be wrong.

There are a couple versions but the most common has a release lever located on the lower left side and should be depressed, then push the coin mech slightly to the right while lifting and pulling toward you. Make sure the cabinet door is completely open and this make take a little finagling...

Nice machine. The year it was made will be the two digit number at the top of the stack.

Thank you Jim that did the trick. Had to get it out cause for some reason the coin mech isn't working. I can mess with that some other time tho. I looked at the serial number and its a 1956 model.

So I've been trying to get the outside of this machine cleaned up and nothing seemed to be working. Went to Walgreens after work to get some Simple Green but they didn't have any so in the As Seen on TV shelf I see this stuff called My Cleaning Secret. I thought what the hell I'll give it a try. You use a damp cloth and this stuff is like baby powder and you rub it on. Cleaned this machine up nice. Still need to clean more but this pick will give you an idea of what it did from my original pic. In person you can really tell a difference.
