         When I saw the listing last week I assumed there was a Dad's sign screwed onto the front.
         But if someone paid $500 for an incomplete Ideal 300, it must have been embossed.
         Watch for another Dad's 55 to be born................. (or maybe a VMC 81?)

It sure does not look to be embossed, but if it is. and looking at the location I would bet that Jack (Coca-Cola cowboy) picked this one up and it will be made into a Dad's VMC 81 for sure..

Very possible the JW Book does NOT spend anytime mentioning the sliders passed the 55's.

Last year I saw a listed Barq's Embossed Ideal 85!  And just yesterday somebody found a Squirt Embossed 85!

I wonder if the embossing is the same size as the 55? If it is could we be seeing a restored Dad's 55 pop up in a few months? Hope not!
