Went to Big Spring today and checked out the closed bottler plant.  EMPTY!!.  But the guy across the street was a repair tech fo them and had the rest of the stuff from the bottler.  The only bottle machine he had was a very nice and cooling Cavalier 177.  That thing is huge.  He had a few mid 60's can machines (are they woth it?).  There were at leaast 20 refridgeration systems from vending machines in there.  They were from when Coca-Cola went to R134A.  They are in good shape and charged.  The gentleman was a refrideration guy.  He also had thermostats and a few other parts.  He is our thinking: Dad wants to go back with me on tuesday he is thinking about buying a bunch of it and selling it. Maybe E-bay or something.  If anyone is interested in these items let me know.  I think I may pick up the Cavalier for about $200 if it is worth it.  Justin

kinda new at the parts game.  I don't intend on screwing anyone as everyone has been so nice.  By the same token this guy that has oll of this is a little goofy so a flood of phone calls may bear little fruit.  So I figured to act as a facilitator and maybe help some new friends out!

What about the Cavalier is it worth the $200?

Justin,

I'm not sure about the $200 but I would think that if you like it, it's compete and functioning, then this doesn't sound like a lot of money for this machine... Perhaps offer $150 due to the size...

I could use a photo of this machine for the Soda Machines Section, so if you return and purchase the machine, perhaps you could share a picture or two for use on SMC...?  '<img'>

My six cents,

From now on Markito, we are going to only allow you to use single letters for your response in order to cut down on download times - "A" or "B"!

A= Have any embossed 10 oz Coke bottles?

B= Get the crap off of the top of the machine!
