Lyon cup vendors

Family legend has it that Stuart Lyon "invented" the concept of selling in paper cups. Is there any truth to this, perhaps a patent or something? I note in your machine listings, that very few are cup vendors.

Don't know about paper cups but I do have a poor copy of an article from a 1927 newspaper with a picture of a "coin in slot soda fountain". So the idea of vending into a cup has been around for awhile.
