Hi Guys not sure if I have posted this before. Me and my daughter went for a ride through some rural villages up close to where we live.
I remember seeing these in place about seven years ago. Its good to see them still there, outside what would have been the village blacksmiths.

They are really tucked away, perhaps that's why they have stood there for so long.

wow... are those just display or is that place still using them... There is a farm near here that has a visible pump STILL in use
she's looking pretty rough now...and he won't sell... I, along with many others no doubt, have stopped and asked about it...
I'm sure one day I'll drive by and it'll be gone.
Great picture. thanks for sharing.

Those pumps are awesome and even cooler that they are still in the wild.

Great pic Dave. Reminds me of a place here in nj that has two old Fyling A gas pumps out front. Place has been abandoned for years but the pumps are still there. Will take and post a pic next time I go by it.

Nice picture. Thanks!
Looks like a remodel going on. May want to ask about the pumps. Hate for those to end up at a scrapper.

Wow the climate must be nice.. those look to be in really good shape...
I agree with Creighton... no harm in asking if those are for sale.
One would make a killer Grandfather clock in the living room beside the new Coke end table.

I think that the property is being converted into a house from what would have been the local garage and before that the blacksmiths. The placed was abandoned the last time I looked. Might take another run out and leave a note, just in case. They have been re-painted over the years. I'm hoping that whoever moves into the house will want them there. It would be a shame to see them go after all those years. But even move of a shame to see some scrappy take them away.

Love the idea of the grandfather clock.

Would be a rare new homeowner wanting fuel pumps in the yard. If there is still underground tanks that creates quite the fuss here. In their best interest for you to haul them off. Don't forget the station lights :-)

Matched pair of unmolested pumps will do very well. Over the top if that was just a latex repaint over the original enamel. Having great luck with Motsenbocker's Graffiti remover on several projects.

Great to see those old pumps, you don't see many hand pump clock face pumps!

I live very close to this place. The place is not abandoned and used to be a bar. I remember when it was still open years ago. Believe me many have tried but they will remain (I hope forever) in place. I cant imagine driving by and not seeing them. I'm more worried about a car crashing into them since they are so close to the road on a curve, but they have been there this long. There was Coca Cola buttons still there I think and other signs but I think somebody took them, I was helping the owner find the thief a few years ago.
