Just want to share some pics.
On craigslist less then 24 hours and the seller had multiple emails and approx. 10 phone calls and one while I was there buying it.
And BTW thanks to Moondawg for being a cool guy and helping out with info to a fellow collector.

I think it looks like crap! It has holes for a water fountain so it needs a total restoration  But I'll trade you a Cavalier 72 for it.  |

I'm glad you were kidding on tearing it down for restore. That is one nice original. The coin mech looks new. Just take off the drinking fountain stubs and plug the 2 holes. You can put small screws on the other holes there. Good job.

Thank You, I plan on enjoying it by wraping it moving blankets and crating it for protection. Now my goal is to "trade up" on the condition scale till I can get a 10/10 original. History of why its so good: the seller wheeled it home in the 1970s on a hand truck from the neighborhood record store. there it sat in the back of his moms house. mom is now en route to a retirement home and the seller appeared in his early 70s prepping the house for sale. A very cool guy because someone tried to drive down that night to buy it from him but he promised me he would hold it for me till the next day morning. |

Unless you find a NOS still in crate, I don't think you'll ever find a 10 out of 10 original. These were made for commercial use, in public places, and are 55+ years old at this time |

It was not a 10 out of 10. The white paint on top was real thin and had a lot of fine scratches in it where rust came thru where the metal was exposed. But yes, I had Pat restore it. I'd say an 8 out of 10. Maybe 8.5. I will have to dig and see if I have some pre-resto pics. Slider bob found as close to a 10/10 as you're going to find.... Then he had it restored!
