Thanks all,
The LED lights are available everywhere now. I ended up buying mine through an online company called LED World Lighting.com.. but now I see them all over the place now.. fairly inexpensive too and easy to use.

We have LED for our under cabinet lighting in the kitchen - a lot of bright light for a little energy!

LED's are the best!   I just installed some in the trunk of my spitfire.  Totally hidden from view, but now I can find stuff in the (*cough* Unlikely) event that I break down.
