Hi all,

Well yesterday I drove for 9 straight hours (round trip) up north to pick up the Pepsi V-77 can glass door machine that I paid $50 for on eBay.

I knew that since he didn't have any photos of the insides, that it may be missing some parts in there, but for $50, I figured it would be worth it.

Well sure enough, when I opened it I saw that it is missing the actual can rack and all seven of the shelves.

Anyone have any of those that they could sell me?

Otherwise it is in really good shape. And the cool 3-D bottlecap light-up sign is in perfect condition except for one tiny scratch!

So overall, I am a happy soda-machine addict. '<img'>

I will post photos soon.

Ouch that rack might be tough to find. If you want it to be a bottle machine a Vendo 56 rack might fit. Ask Moondawg if he got any Vendo 56 parts in his latest find.

like Josh said the rack outta a 56 should work.  Shelfs need to be wider though.

Guys, would this V-56 Can rack and shelves work in my V-77?:

Please let me know.

If so, PLEASE no one else bid on it! I need it!

Thanks so much.

You need to get them to measure everthing for you
and then measure your machine. Compare and bid if it fits.

I saw another one a week or so back, it didnt look like that.

Had a starting bid of 200.00.

Thats the same one. Yes the rack should work but the shelves are too small. You could have some made for you if you wanted. Also if you bought that those shelves are hard to find you could resell the shelves.

V-77 looks to have the same bottle stack as the V-63, and I know the 63 Stack is same as 56.
And can and  bottle stacks use the same shelves.
Yes Kito, the can stack should work for you.

Thanks Bryan.
I will not be bidding until right before it ends, electronically, because I will be out of the country at the time.

Hey, I won it!
It wasn't cheap (in my limited opinion), but at least I have it to add to the Pepsi machine. I only wish it had Pepsi products names on it instead of Coke ones. But still glad I got it.

Congrat's!!
Not to worry about the coke lables. They are just stickers that can be removed.
I could use two shelves as well if you want to break the set. Also need 4 V-56 bottle shelves with the spring bottle advance if anybody has extra's.
Thanks!

That is such GREAT news! I was quite bummed that the Pepsi machine's rack would have Coke names on it and I didn't want to repaint it. VERY cool!
Thaks for making my day Creighton!

Glad to help. Only will cost you two can racks :-)
I've got to make proper lables for my can stack. We make sticky back laminated stuff with the rubber stamp biz. If you want me to try and make some Pepsi or whatever send the artwork over. Note the size of the depressed area (where the labels go) of the can rack is 2 5/8" length by 3/4" height. Go 2 or 3  1/16" smaller for a good stick. Don't want to upset the trademark police so if this works will just give the sheets away. I don't have time to track down the various logos but send any over and will try to include.
M-Dew, Bud, Coke caf free, are the ones I need.

Thanks so much Creighton, I will do that when I start working on that machine.
Right now I have my two other V56's to finish restoring. I really appreciate the offer and look forward to taking you up on it.

Well the V56 can rack and shelves arrived today.

Just like predicted here, the rack fit my Pepsi V77 perfectly. The two pegs and all the screw holes matched exactly! '<img'>

But, the shelves are far too short. '<img'>   I think I will have to add some sheet metal to each one to extend them.

I am trading the machine with a close friend and I know he won't mind modifyng the shelves at all.

But the rack was the most important part to fit.

So I'm happy.

Hey Markito,

Please don't hack up the orginal shelves. Check and see what it would cost to fab the proper size. I'll work with you on the cost in exchange for 3 of the vintage shelves. Think someone else needed a couple as well. Third time I've tried this post hope this the charm!

Well, I am actually trading the Pepsi machine with my friend tonight, but I could probably give it to him without the shelves as long as I promise to have some for him soon.

I didn't answer your past requests because I knew that I needed to have the shelves for my friend.

May I ask why you haven't just fab'd for yours? Or do you want vintage originals to "maintain the integrity" of the machine?

I just can't afford to sink much money into fabricating new shelves because I am already losing money in this machine trade, but I want his Coke machine.

What is it you are trading for?

A Cavalier flat top in really good unrestored condition. May not be an equal trade, but I don't like Pepsi machines, and I wanted a really nice Coke flat top for my gameroom right away and I don't have the time right now to restore one quickly.
