Quick Question for anyone with Stoner restoration experience.
I see some machines have a deco appearing chrome/mirror on the base
IS this a decal, painted that way , or a mirror ?
If mirror, how thick
I like the look just do not know how to create it

I utilize mirrored stainless cut exactly the same shape but 1/8" smaller all around.
Very nice looking machine!
The tray is called a Sanitary Cover

I bought one of the plastic mirrors that Vintage Vending use to sell. I actually still have it. I wasn't happy with the fit. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't perfect so where I use to work they had a machine that cuts metal with a water pressure jet. I brought in my door and had them measure out the pattern. After a few scrap metal cuts, we brought out the stainless steel. I had two made with the sheet I supplied. It turned out great. That would be the best route but I would assume that it would be expensive.
