I was talking to a guy at work and he was telling me about a Coke barrel that he has had for thirty years or more.  I told him that I would post some pictures and ask the panel of experts on this sight.  He would like to know if anyone knows what this is, age, value, the usual questions.

Petretti's book, edition 9, 1994 says 5 gallon wooden syrup keg 1930s  - $175.. pretty cool... like the older odd stuff.

It'd be cool to track down who the barrel went to, tough to read the bottom though ***FORD HOPKIN 1XX W. XXX. ST. XXXXXXXX, ILL.

Linford, Buford, Wilford...I can't figure out what the first three letter are
