I'm looking at purchasing my first square top slant shelf and was wondering about the size of bottles that can be vended by this machine.  Is there any difference between the Vendo and Cavalier slant shelfs concerning what size bottles can  and cannot be vended?

Thanks for the input!

Yes they are different. Vendo has a maximum hole diameter of 2 1/4"on the bottle gate faceplate.
You will notice Cavalier has a larger opening and different bottle gates. Some plastic bottles vend thru Cavalier that would not pass thru a Vendo.

Is it possible to just get a replacement Cavalier bottle gate faceplate and put it on a Vendo? Or would the spacing then be wrong?

My Vendorlator has 2-5/8" openings.  So far it has handled all 12oz beer bottles that I've tried.  Haven't tried any of the plastic bottles (coke, water, etc).

Usually with the rack set on the largest Adjustment(the bottom hole) I have no problem vending 16.9 plastic bottles. Some water bottles(aquafina) are to filmsy and can just be pulled past the gates.  Dasani is thicker and works great for me.  Have had various beer longnecks and never a problem.  One time I had some thums up Cola from india and the bottles were long enough the hung up on vending with the shelfs all the way back.  I haven't got around to it yet but this weekend I'm going to try the new Coke 12 ounce plastic bottles to see how they work

Kito the Cavalier vends 8 selections and the Vendo is 7. The Cavaliers are much taller as well. I don't see any way that would work.

Well......
I'll probably be divorced by this time next month but I went ahead and took the plunge, I've always wanted one (Vendo 56 squaretop) anyway.  Fortunately, I'm moving to Maine next month and will drive right by the guy's house so will pick it up from him then.

Next on the list.....stylestar slant shelf squaretop!  '<img'>

Thanks for the info!!

My wife is going to divorce me plain and simple.  I just added a Cavalier CSS-64G stylestar to my collection.  Of course, I may already have it sold too...that could work to my advantage!! HAAHAHAAHAAA!!!  This is better than drugs!!!!'<img'>
