Just finished this one... It is going in a Marina. It was the original cooler used in the Marina back in the day.

Looks awesome Shane! What do the underside of the lids look like? Were the originals salvageable, or did you have to recreate them?

Thanks Guys.
Jim - The stainless is new, but was able to keep the undersides, just painted them. They are fiberglass/plastic... if they where metal I would have powder-coated them.

Nice - my WE-6 lids are pretty well rusted out.

You do very nice work Shane! I have always liked the two-tone paint scheme on the bow out chests. It really pops!

I see similarly designed coolers fairly regularly on CL, usually rusty and in an overall pretty bad state of disrepair. I think "eh, they're nothing special." You've changed my mind. Excellent work, it looks sensational! I wish we had an applause smiley. This jaw-drop smiley will have to do for the moment.

That stainless looks awesome... did you have to create a special form or mold to bend it...
I could see a pretty good market for remaking those stainless lids?
Looks great!

John- The stainless on the lids are skins we had made up. My buddy owns a sheet metal and fabrication shop, I gave him the old lids and he made new skins from them. After they where made, I polished them. They where actually pretty time consuming, but the end result turned out to be worth the time.
