I went to one of our local gas stations today and found an unusual new soda vending machine (at least new to me).  It was sitting in between each of the two gas pump islands.  It looks like you choose a soda, it dispenses it, but you pay for it at the pump.  I was in a hurry or I would have tried it. Pictures to follow.

Not a great picture, but each side has a screen depending on which pump you are paying at.  The #1 is for pump one.

Pretty cool. Wish they would put port a johns that close to the pump. Empty while you fill kind of thing

It is a good idea. With most people paying at the pump with debit or credit the stations loose the walk in traffic and spur of the moment soda or snack sales.
