Ok.. I'm restoring my 81 and the shelves need to be zinc plated.
They have a little plastic wheel on the underside that the spring runs along. it rivitted on so how do you remove it
(I'm guessing a drill) and if you remove it...how do you
re-attach it?
BITW or anyone else that has replated... what did you do?

Thanks

Let them be plated.  Wheels do not get affected so don't bother removing them

Ok  I was wondering because they are plastic and they go through some type of cleaning before being plated and he
asked if they were aluminum because the cleaning process cwould damage/eat the aluminum. So the plastic will be ok?
I have these and the ones from my 72 so I was going to have theam all done at once.
Thanks
