This might be what the original sticker looked liked with reversed colors, without the ‘Best of Texas’. Pearl was brewed in San Antonio TX. It was brought from Germany in the late 1880’s. Pabst didn’t buy them out until the mid 1980’s.
This might help to refresh memories.

A little off topic but when we were clearing out my dad's drugstore before it was sold, we found an unopened bottle of Busch Ginger Ale in the back room.  Apparently that is one of the products they made to get them through Prohibition.  My mother still has that bottle somewhere.  I will take a picture and post it the next time I stop at her house.

It wasn't that hard Eric...how many times does Pearl Beer get mentioned on SMC. I searched for Pearl cooler and about five results came up (inc. the current thread).
And yeah, would like to have seen a pic.
