Well, 3 out of 4 of these I got this year (great year so far lol) so I didn't want to put it under the 2013 finds

VMC 88 Coke Was a Ebay buy.... I saw one only once in person before this, at the Chicago show for 1k, and it was beat up real bad. A fellow member had one for sale a while ago, but being it was on the other side of the country... I didn't pull the trigger.
This one was a easy drive pick up for me, and although I paid FULL FULL retail on it, I love it, and it will be with me forever. (It's a PERFECT original, only thing missing is a small trim pc)

The Pepsi double dot Heintz chest was on CL about a year ago, I emailed the guy, but he told me it was no longer for sale as his wife wanted to now keep it.  He posted in on Ebay last month, but still contacted me if I was interested.  I was, I made my offer, and now it's in my garage.  Of the 4 new machines, this one I'm not sure what I'm going to do with.... it was too rare in my books to not get it, and for the price, I'm sure I could find a buyer one day at what I would let it go for.  But for now, it fits nicely in the garage lol.

The 7up Quikold, (As I need to thank Joey (( Coke_and_stuff)) for the help on this one.  It too was a Ebay buy, but I think I got a decent price on it.  It was restored, and for having 5 embossed  7ups, I think it would cost what I paid just to have the embossed letters painted!

The 7up 33 I just picked up today from FedEx.  It was listed on Ebay with a Best Offer.... I made one, and he took it.  I looked on some posts here from 2005 or 6 and this was on Ebay then as well from Florida.  I have never seen one in person before this one, and I never see them come up for sale, so I paid retail once again, but I sleep with a smile on my face at night.

I gambled on this year being a bad one for snow... so in the summertime I bought 22 snowblowers for cheap all from CL sellers.  All I did was clean some up with De-Gunk, others I didn't do anything to, and I sold them on avg for 150 more than I paid, as my gambling paid off and we are having a heck of a winter! lol.... so my hard work went into paying for 3 of the 4 machines!

24 days into the year, and I'm tapped out with my machine funds!  WIth these pick ups, I think I can wait another year to pick up another.

Wow, very nice. If you got those machines this year and it's still January means the rest of the year you are playing with house money.

Lol so you finally posted the 88, I know you think you paid a king's ransom for it but I think you did quite well, try finding another, let alone in that condition, you might spend a lifetime searching, congrats on the 4 great machines ! Now that they're around the corner it makes it that much easier to pick up when you decide to unload one of them  tounge Great finds Ed  !

Yes Joey... that's the one.  I forgot to even ask if you knew the guy or the machine!  It all worked out well.
