Going to an Auction this weekend and wanted to see if anyone is interested in this machine. Dont know what its worth but looks pretty cool. They also have a coke machine to be auctioned off as well. |

You know, I was just looking at that ad not 30 minutes ago, thinking about posting it. Great minds think alike, I guess.    The Coke machine looks like a CS-96 modded for Pepsi. I don't see the original "Drink Coca-Cola" embossing, did they remove it? |

I'm trying to figure out how they did away with the Coca-Cola embossing on the "Pepsi" machine. If they hacked that door to get it off, that's a shame. |

The embossing is under the sign. |

The Coca Cola embossing is not a large script on that machine, so it doesn't take a large sign to cover it up. My thinking too is that it's still under the sign.   |

I find this brand conversion interesting. The distributor rebranded the machine Pepsi, but after money is inserted the "Have A Coke" lens lights up. I guess they didn't have a "Have A Pepsi" lens handy. |

In the very first picture, I couldn't see the fasteners holding the Pepsi sign to the machine. They did a good job hiding the embossing.
As to the lens, maybe the were hesitant to bolt a Pepsi logo to that. The Pepsi logo looks like late 60's into mid 70's to me.

I would absolutely LOVE to have a bowling machine like that, but they never come available in my area!  I see them all the time back east and in the upper Midwest, but not in NM.  Have no clue on good price...depends on how bad one wants it.  My 5 kids would enjoy one for sure!! |

Here's one that has been for sale for awhile in my area. I too would love to have one but don't have the room (or live in a firehouse as this one seems to be in). http://newjersey.craigslist.org/clt/4191294279.html |
