With the shortage of small Coke bottles that fit the Vendo 44, what other type and size of bottles would fit the 44 and has anybody ever converted one to cans, and did it work OK converted . Thanks

Victor, if you have a Sam's Club nearby - check them out. The one in my area stocks the small 8oz bottles by the case. The only other one I can think of is maybe some of the pony beer bottles will fit. I guess the only way to be sure it to buy a WHOLE bunch of different ones and try them out! (Where are you located? I could help with the research!) Jim

I converted a VMC 44 to cans replacing the rocker arms I got from Funtronics and it works great....it was an easy conversion and you can always put the old rockers back in.

You can also get a couple of cases of the old 6 1/2 oz bottles, fill them from 2 liter Coke bottles and cap them. Keep re-using the empties.

I replaced the rockers On the vendo 44 with the ones for cans and they drop more than on can. I must have something in wrong. I thought I installed them right. Any help would be nice. Thanks

I'm not 100% sure but you may have to shim the side walls like you do for the bottles. Hopefully CokeColaman will chime in and update us on how his worked.

I noticed when I only put a few cans in, they all came out...but when I filled it up, I didn't have any problems.

I've heard the same thing that when it gets down to the last 2 cans it will vend both...I have mine pretty full so haven't seen this issue.

Yes when it gets down to the last two cans it will vend them both. That is because there is no weight to wedge the can against the wall. Keeping it full helps keep the cans tight up against the wall.
