I was looking though the new postings today on Kijiji (Canada's Version of Craigslist) and found a smoking deal on a VMC 81. $250
It was just listed as "Old coke machine" and I clicked on it expecting a square top, and looked harder, sure enough it was a VMC 81 with a Nasty coke sign riveted over the "Mystery" embossing.
I called the guy, expecting it to be gone, and he still had it. After talking to him for a few min on the phone, he gained my trust and I wired him the money and sent my worker to go get it, as I couldn't leave the Shop today.
He drove 5 hours to Ottawa, and 5 hours home. When he got it home to my house tonight, I popped off the sign, and under it was a Pepsi embossing.
The machine is missing the coin door, bezel, some shelves, and coin mech, but the shell, door, are in great shape, hardly any rust, and the bottle rack is there, and compressor works good.
