Christian the only place that still sells cane sugar Dr. Pepper, or at least the only place that bottles cane sugar Dr. Pepper is in West Jefferson North Carolina. They will ship, but it's expensive. They have tons of varieties of soda with cane sugar. Mt. dew, R.C., Nehi, welches, various root beers, sun drop, etc.

Larry is right about the plant in West Jefferson North Carolina as I live about 3 hours East of it and have been out there about three times. I believe they told me that they were like one of the very few plants that still sold soda in long neck bottles. Here is the link: http://www.glassbottlesoda.org/bottlers/wjefferson.shtml

Very tasty! I make semi-annual trips to stock up. Last time I filled my trunk. I took some samples out to MI and OH for Bob, Ken and Pat when I picked up my Ideal slider and V-59. Jim

Dublin Dr. Pepper plant got shut down. By their contract they were not suppose to be selling out of their teritory and Dr. Pepper went after them with a law suite. The plant is only a couple of hours from me.

The link in my last post show a bottle that looks like the old dublin bottle and it's sugarsweetened also http://www.candycarrollton.com/products-page/best-sellers/dublin-dr-pepper/I suppose you live in texas or nearby so i wonder if you have seen this kind of Pepper (bottled in Temple Texas) or know if i can find them for a better price? Christian.

If you live in Texas you can still get the Dublin DP at most area grocery stores. They will continue to sell until they run out of stock on what was made by the now-defunct makers of Dublin DP. I know they still have pallets of this stuff waiting to be sold here. Unfortunately I have no idea where you could score this via the web without paying insane costs.

If you can find a Bigger Mexican market in your area. They are likely to have a big selection of soda from Mexico, in glass bottles and only sugar sweetened. Coke / Fanta are the most popular, but I see sprite, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, etc... all the time.
Plus Jarittos is excellent if you like fruit flavors.

I have heard about Mexican Coke so it sounds promising if they have Dr pepper also. I'm lycky to have all sodas here in Sweden sugarsweetened but we don't have Root beer and Dr pepper in glass bottles. and i would never load a 50's machine with plastic bottles I havent think about mexican store so i will check if i can find a mexican import store store here. but i'm not positive.
