Hi, I am wondering who who be a good company to supply, resto and ship an 81 to Canada. I am in no hurry at all, I can wait a year or longer if nessesary... I have been reading a lot of older posts and it seems like there is plenty of choices... Just wondering who has ever shipped to Canada and is firmilar with the customs policies and such. Thanks.

I would recommend you contact the various restorer's directly. Most of us probably know very little about shipping to Canada, let alone which restorers are willing to or have knowledge about making such arrangements.

I live on the US Canadian border and am very familiar with US Custums policies. Let me know if you need help.

Not sure where in Canada you are located, but we are in Lindsay Ontario and buy/sell/restore machines. I have a few unrestored 81's in stock. Thanks Shane

I ordered my 81D with Alan Huffman, and received the photos of my machine the other day. The machine look to be complete and also in fantastic shape, I'm super excited to finally have a D! Just thought I would share.

Thanks, I think it looks great too! I'd rather have it completely restored. Can't wait to see it finished. Just thought I'd post a couple more photos Alan Huffman sent me of my 81D refrigeration system...
