I have always like the look of this cigatette machine.  I don't typically buy machines like this.  Does anybod have any information about them or a current market value?

This is the only picture I have.  Still has cigarette in the windows.  Not sure if it works??

Thanks...

I've had/have three of these. Two seven pull and one nine pull like this one.
The seven pull are a little more desirable because of thier reduced size.
The nine pull is a little larger but not massive.

I think they are great. Easy enough to work on and they can look very cool
with the right colour schemes.

The only issue is they are not flap operated so you are limitted on what you can vend.
I know members here have converted to candy in the past. I have left the two that I have
restored as cigarette.

Price wise - Can't really help you there. Around $500 I would suggest is a good price for a complete
machine. However, I am too far away to confirm this.

I am thinking more $150-200 range.

Really kind of looks 510 series National, maybe a little earlier than early 60's.
One thing nice about these old National machines, the guts were basically the same for years.

A total POS sold on ebay for $275 missing parts. There was a nicer one sold for $375 buy it now so there is no telling if it lasted 2 hour because it was a deal. There was another POS that sold for $510 auction

So a nice original being valued on SMC.... Less than 1/3 to 1/2 of the easy sale, do nothing, list it and let it go on ebay going rate... that sounds like it may be a little low of an appraisal.

Hey Jared,
See if it will vend packs that are 4" x 2 1/4" (100's).
Thanks!

Did they even make 100s mm back in those days?  I don't think so. As I said I have filled/service
older Nationals.  Most columns could be modified to take 100's. Just takes a saber saw with a metal blade.

I am sure some folks overpay for old cig machine thinking they can be used to vend candy.

It is a nice machine, especially considering the age. Looks like the original paint.  Plus
never saw one with a penny slot for matches before.

I bought the $510 POS LOL

Actually its pretty clean, and all the parts are there... Going to do it up Black with Red accents, and airbrush a pin up girl on the front.

It was located near the Chicago-land show, so I picked it up last week.

That seller is smoking something that was never available from that machine.
