Paint job complete

I posted the before pictures of this $200 Cav 96 in February. I just painted it this weekend, here is an update picture.

I did it all myself, mostly in the garage, painted it in the driveway. Luckily the light breeze carried the red cloud in an unobjectionable direction. I bought most of the decals from Funtronics but had the "have a Coke" custom made as they aren't available.

Looks great, Nate.  I have one more week of school and then I can start getting around to my 96......well as soon as I finish a couple other projects.  You know the story.  Anyways, excellent job!

Nate- looks great! What kind of paint and equipment did you use? Did you bead blast prior to paint?

Looks Sweet!!! what paint did you end up using? (the red I mean) and did you have the shelves replated or powder coated silver? show us some inside shots too please! Nice work!

Paint: PPG Omni AU, base coat/clear coat, 2 coats of each. Applied with a Devilbiss conventional spray gun in my driveway.

Color: I'll have to check the cans and write back. The red is a long story, The previous owner of my house was Pres. of Coca Cola New England and had worked there since the late 40's. When he built my house (1950) he used many pieces of Coke bllboard as access panels. One such piece I found was dated 4-46 and in perfect condition not having seen sun for 50+ years. I buffed this out and had it scanned using PPG's "Prophet" system. This is the red. The white I obtained by taking the coin door off, buffing it out and having the same scanning done. I'll check the cans tonight for th epaint #'s
