MC-5800 Coin Return Problem

I've got a MC-5800 coin machine that doesn't seem to work. I'm pretty sure that it's getting power from the vending machine because when I got the 1,3, & 7 circuit bypass to get the machine to vend, it works. The problem with the MC-5800 is that if I place any coin in it, it rejects it every time. Does anyone have any ideas?
