They took away SO much of the appeal of that machine by painting it solid red.
...and why over-restore some parts (chrome base??) but leave others (cap catcher) unrestored?
...and I would like to know where he's seen them go for $6,000 plus perfectly restored. People have no morals.
Hopefully I'll soon be able to show everyone what a restored Ideal Slider SHOULD look like.
