ok, i am going to paint my first machine a westinghouse wb-102 pretty soon. I have it all mapped out in my head except for the area where the compressor goes.  this is a small area and i'm pretty sure my hvlp gun wont fit in there very easy.

What are some different ways to tackle spraying paint in this area.

thanks, any ideas would be most helpful.

I spray the area with the machine on its back elevated slighted so I can get these areas as well as the bottom. Then I screw in old leg levelers and stand it up, clean/wipe as necessary and continue with the rest of the cabinet!
For a tight refrigeration compartment, you might consider using a "touch-up" gun with a smaller/flexible hose line. Just be careful with the vent hole as you will automatically turn the gun all different ways to get the coverage not paying attention that paint may drip from the canister vend hole!

My six cents,
