Craigslist search

How do you search ALL of craigslist? I mean the whole country without having to search
state-by-state, city-by-city?

type in  "search all of craigslist" in yahoo and the page I think is called allofcraigslistsearch.com

Another easy way to search all of the Craig's lists across the country is to do a simple Google search.   

Say you want to search the country for a Vendo 56.  Go to Google's search page and type in the following:  Vendo 56 site:craigslist.org  and hit enter.  That will quickly bring back every Vendo 56 in the country on Craig's list. 

That type of inquiry works on any domain.  For example, to search for Vendo 56 on this site (disregarding the fact there already is a search feature here) you would go to Google and type in the following: Vendo 56 site:soda-machines.com and you would about the same results if you loggin in and searched here.  Just remember to leave a space before the word "site" and no space after the ":"
