Ok, so I am getting rid of a stripped glasco cooler that I had thrown into a deal. I have several projects ahead of it and honestly I have 5 sliders kicking around so I'm never going to restore 3 glasco coolers.

Someone contacted me and wants a non working machine just for looks, he wants to store pellets for his pellet stove in it so he doesn't care about cooling. he actually asked me if I had a non cooling one I could sell him.

Would it be worth pulling the working compressor out and how much of a hassle would it be. Is there any demand for just a working compressor once its out and I can't prove it works? Would I have to drain the refrigerant? it works like a champ, so I know it has R-something in it.

Any opinions?

IMO - I have found used compressors to be a hard sell!
