Does anyone know of a source for the rubber seal that goes around the marque frame on the vendo 56 and 63? Ive also looked on Funtronics and Sodajerkworks, and tried a few weather stripping suppliers on the net. I thought I saw a post here about the same part but I cant find it either.

Ive attached a (poor) pict.

Thanks,
Darrell

If you don't find it, I have used sponge gasket with the self adhesive strip to fill the gap.

You might want to try the material used to hold screens in the frame. It's available at most hardware stores and comes in different sizes.

Check out a supply house called tundra restaurant supply, they have some gaskets that look very similar, here's a link,  but their site seems to be lagging when I tried to login...but it loaded up just now for me.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Thanks for the ideas and help. Ive found some sticky back half round and some square from etundra.com that will work.

The project moves forward!

Glad it worked out...I'm always scouting around for cross-referenced items from other related refrigeration sites..especially odd-ball gaskets for orphan brand coolers. enjoy!
