Hello everyone,
I may be off-line for a while depending on the outcome of Hurricane Frances' visit... I'm tired and beaten from two days of preparations... Now I can only sit and wait... Keep me and my family in your prayers!
Thank you, Jim '>

Well, things are looking better as Frances has weakened! Last report looked as though the hurricane would go slightly north of my area... Tomorrow will tell the story...
Sorry, if this seems inappropriate but I actually had a little down time and wanted to check in...

Jim where in Florida are you from? I live in Daytona Beach. I hear we got hit hard by the storm. I am stuck in Shrevsport Louisiana so I havent been able to see the damage. I am a pilot at Embry Riddle and they had us evacuate their aircraft. I hope you all are Ok.

All things considered, I faired pretty good since the eye came ashore at Stuart, FL which is where I'm located... I haven't heard how long the electric will be out, low water pressure and manditory boiling for sanitory reasons... No ice to be found for miles; I'm at work right now so I'll be shopping here in Ft. Lauderdale for supplies before heading home... All I can say is everyone is sure glad it was only a category 2 instead of the 4 Frances originally was prior to hitting the islands in the Carribean!

Jim and all affected by these storms you are in our prayers. Hope is well through the next round. Sure could use some of that rain on the fires here in Northern CA.
Take care!! Creighton

Do you think Ivan will hit? We just got home yesterday and now they are sending us to Dallas Texas to get away from Ivan on Sunday.

I'm back at work... Still no electric but did get my phones operational last night!!!
Projections look like Ivan will stay out in the Gulf until it makes landfall up in the panhandle of Fla, near Tallahassee... I don't want to wish it on anyone but I definately don't need another hurricane visit!
